Brent Corrigan Is The (young) Man With The Plan

I have to start by saying I've been meaning to write this article for some time now but have been holding back because I've been feeling a little shy about the whole thing- an unusual thing for a person like me really (my Jung tests have consistently profiled me as an ENTJ personality type) . I honestly couldn't understand why I've been shy about the topic and why I've held back (it has nothing to do with being concerned about writing something related to the adult industry). But today, I'm finally writing this thing because it's way overdue and because there is truth, beauty and a compelling call to positively take charge of our lives in the story I'm going to write about today.

Today, amigos & amigas, I want to tell you about Brent Corrigan. I first heard about Brent from internet buzz about the arrival of a compelling new adult industry twink-actor some time back. I saw the photos and the material and like millions of gay men around the world, I was awe-struck. Not only was this young man visually stunning with his elegant and handsome face and physique - in my mind he exuded charisma and presence that compelled one to offer back appreciation and huge respect - especially when that charisma is served with that powerful stare and pout.

I really don't know much about his life, but what most people do know is that he made ends meet as a teenager working for the adult industry and that a vendetta was placed on him by some of the industry people he worked with who now live with the regret of knowing they should have known and done better.

What people should know is that this 19 year old human being has bounced back from adversity and the odds of a dismal track. New and good people, his talent and surely his character presumably were the guiding forces that kept him ontrack. He's now leveraging his celebrity and brand value and is building an internet-based content production and distribution company. How remarkable! His story, his strong personally-directed imaging work and his blog articles have been an unexpected source of delight and inspiration for me. In my mind, this guy is like the Cinderella Man for the gay content industry and Brent is a beacon of inspiration and awe, in more ways than one, to all industry enthusiasts. If I should be so lucky as to succeed with my entertainment industry goals (and get Brent's okay) - perhaps many decades down the line, I could produce the movie that celebrates his life ala Russell Crowe/Cinderella Man.

In an online forum, I wrote about how very pleased I was that Brent seems to be doing well, staying strong and most importantly - growing. Jason Curious wrote back saying something about how he had a chance to "interview" with him at a conference. Jason's final question was something like "what else would you like from the world", and Brent said something like "respect".

Well now. From this side of the world, Brent, here's a ton of respect and admiration all for you!
